Easter Sunday

It's a very important day for us to remember our Savior. It is also a day to spend with our families. Great memories, traditions, and enjoyment happen on this day. Let's remember our Savior and the price He paid for us. Let's also share our Easter memories for all to hear. I love you all! Hear from you soon!

Michael Milkanin

P.S. A little memory from 1955 of Wanda, David, and Lynette in their Easter finest. Doesn't Madeline look just like baby Lynette? What a pretty family I have. :)

Joseph Eyre's Baptism

On Sunday, April 3rd, Joseph Eyre became the newest member of our family to become a member of the church. How cool is that? Do you remember you baptism? I remember the tears from my parents, the songs and talks by my family, and knowing that I was making a big commitment to the Lord. Do you remember yours? Let's revisit that memory and reevaluate our covenants we made and see where we stand. Any fun stories you remember? Feel free to comment or post them here!  This is where we want to see them.
Congrats again Joseph!! WE are all so proud of you!!

Here are some picture from the event of all those lucky enough to witness!

Love,

A Day in the Life of Michael Milkanin

Hey family, welcome to the blog. This is your “demo”, your example to hopefully add yours after reading this.  :)
The Milkanin Family is taking a lot of changes these days, but I am going to let them blog about their specific advancements in life. This has been a crazy year for me. I have spent this past year performing with the BYU Young Ambassadors. It has been the most rewarding and fulfilling performing of my entire life. We are getting ready to travel to the southern states in less than two weeks. I am so excited to spend 30 DAYS in the south getting a tan, performing, sharing the gospel, and GOING TO HARRY POTTER WORLD :).
I am also a Music Dance Theatre major at BYU (if you didn’t know) and I am loving my major. Wrapping up my sophomore year has been a surreal thing for me because I will graduate soon and move to New York and start performing. How crazy does that sound? More scary than anything, but it’s what I love and I know that it can be a fulfilling career.

My last update is about the new addition I brought to the Milkanin Family this past month. For those of you who may not know, we had to put Zoey down because she just got too old and it was a painful existence for her. We miss her so much, but that I what prompts this following story.
I was walking home from class with my friend Whitley when we stumbled upon 7 adorable puppies. A mutt they were, a mix of golden retriever, pug, boxer, and a few other things, these dogs were the most adorable things to ever happen to the world. I text both of my parents and then called my mom who of course said no. After leaving the puppies, my dad called me asking about them and saying I could bring one home for a test run conference weekend. Once they met him, they all fell in love and is has since been living with my parents bringing them back to a “new born” lifestyle which (even though they complain relentlessly) they love more than anything! His name is Max and he would love to meet you all. Super calm and playful, my parents now have 4 children with “M” names. One may walk on 4 legs, but he sure is an adorable addition. I love you & can't wait to read & see your updates!!
